This privacy policy describes how we process personal data in connection with applications to Dreamhill Music (“Dreamhill”). We care about your privacy and strive to maintain a high level of data protection.

  • Application details, such as background and motivation
  • Music files or links to music
  • Any other information you choose to provide

We process your personal data in order to:

  • Handle and administer your application
  • Carry out selection and assessment of applicants
  • Communicate with you about your application
  • If admitted: administer your place in the programme
  • Contact you about future programmes or similar offers

6. How We Process Your Data

Applications are reviewed by a jury appointed by Dreamhill’s staff. The jury is given access to relevant information in order to assess your application.

7. Third-Party Providers

We use external systems to handle applications and administration:

  • Lyyti - used to collect and store applications
  • Google Classroom - used for communication with admitted participants
  • SchoolSoft - used for education administration

These providers process personal data on our behalf and according to our instructions.

8. Sharing of Personal Data

If you are admitted to Dreamhill, your personal data will be shared with:

  • Örnsköldsvik Folk High School
  • Region Västernorrland

This is done in order to administer your place in the programme.

9. Storage of Data

We store your personal data as follows:

  • Applications that do not lead to admission are stored for up to 6 months after the application process has ended
  • Data for admitted participants is stored during the programme and for up to 12 months after the programme has ended
  • Data may be stored for longer if required by law

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format (data portability)

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
